Motorcycle Chain Cleaning and Lubrication Tips
The chain is a very important piece of any motorcycle, since it's in charge of transferring all the horsepower to the back wheel. If your chain is not in good condition, your motorcycle will be less efficient, producing less overall power.
Why Do Motorcycle Chains Need To Be Maintained? Typical road conditions and weather like dust, dirt, rain, mud, etc. all put strain on your chain, lowering its efficiency and life span. A lot of motorcycles are made with what is called an "O-Ring sealed chain." These chains usually wear out much quicker and need more maintenance than conventional chains, but all motorcycle chains need standard maintenance
